An apple, ginger, lemon and lime summertime drink to keep you healthy and hydrated
2 parts apple juice
1 part low calorie/diet ginger ale
Dash lemon juice
Dash of sugar free lime cordial
Half fill a cocktail glass with apple juice, add a dash of lemon and lime. Top up with ginger ale and chill. Serve with ice and slices of apples.
Spice up a glass of water…….
• Herbs and extracts – mint and vanilla are great way to make water interesting. Crush them a little then infuse with warm water and then pour over ice. Strain. Try adding flavourings to a bottle of water and chilling this in the fridge overnight to soak up the flavours. Enjoy with ice and a fresh sprig of mint.
• Lemon and lime – try squeezing these into the water and add a slice to the top for a zesty kick
• Cucumber – slice and add to a cold pitch of water – very refreshing…
